You Don’t Know Jack

  • June 15, 2016

Hey y’all!

It’s that time of year again, when I load up my plate with a gratuitous serving of humble pie and ask you, my dearest friends, to come and support this thing I tentatively call my comedy career.

I’m trying out material for my new Edinburgh show. I think it’s much better than last year. It’s all about being in your 20s and not knowing what to do with your life and having a quarter life crisis and it’s funny.

Here are some nice things people said about me last year:

“An inventive flourish behind his likeable banter… a distinctive wit that should make him one to watch” – Steve Bennett, Chortle

“Instantly likeable” – Three Weeks

“Barry is Eddie Izzard-like in his excellent use of callbacks… a chipper, friendly, and optimistic performer with a strong debut hour of stand-up and enormous potential…I anticipate the rest of his career with great interest.” – Broadway Baby

“Barry is so laid back he’s almost horizontal” The List

“A pleasing, assured presence…a degree of skill that belies his youth.” – Fest

“An excellent young comedian who you might not have heard much about, but you will.” – Channel 5
